So what did you forget for your trip? Let me guess. You wanted to carry a big container of hot water with you, because after a long day of traveling or backpacking, a good cup of coffee or tea is sometimes just what we need to rejuvenate us for another day.
Not so fast. Who carries hot water with them? Pretty much: no one who doesn’t need a big bag of hot water at all times. Let’s think. Right, no one immediately comes to mind. Usually hot water is on carts, on trains, traveling the iron rails of Russia… sorry, got carried away.
So, can’t find that hot water you’re seeking? Well we found a device we used to use about 20 years ago. And we’re glad it’s still on the market (see warning above) and being made: a dual voltage Immersion Heater. Use this immersion heater to heat up water, so that you can make your favorite drinks in minutes.
Perfect for heating water on the road, this devices reduces the worry of whether your next hotel will have a water heater for a cup of tea, coffee, or other beverage. Spoiler alert: this has nothing to do with whether or not you have hot water for a bath, however.
It works on trains, hotels, or anywhere with an electrical outlet, and you can use it with two different Alternating Current (AC) systems, including 120V, which is more common in North America, and 240V, which is more common in Europe and other parts of the world. It also includes a European adapter plug so you don’t have to purchase that separately.
It’s sleek, portable, and easily fits inside the included pouch. The durable burn guard ensures that the coils don’t touch the sides of your mug or cup. You can even use it in the office or at home.
Please note that you should first fill up your container with water, then put the immersion heater in the water, and lastly turn the immersion heater on. After the water is hot, unplug the heater and wait thirty seconds before removing it from the water.
Now you don’t have to order room service or bring a bulky pot, tea kettle, or water heater when you’re traveling if you want a hot cup of tea or coffee. Easily warm liquids with this portable immersion heater and get your day started off right. Please note: the plastic used to create this heater has a warning that you should read. It’s below.
